TP 1. THE COLOSSEUM

Once a fight begins, mammals have varying degrees of engagement. Carnivores are much more aggressive as it is its main survival drive. Kill and eat, or starve to death. Herbivores utilize escape maneuvers that are usually successful as evident in African nature films. Omnivores are the best survivors as devouring plants or animals will keep them alive longer. Humans are omnivores with a different set of operating instructions encoded into their 200,000 year old gray matter. The 3 E’s will determine the outcome of their behaviors much more than pure instinct. They are Ego, Emotion, and Education. Ego and Emotion can be the most dangerous drivers on the planet as logic and intelligence leaves the ring. Personal insults leading to severe anger or the fear of harm will push most humans to pull the triggers. This will be the downfall of the human race; kicking it into pure Carnivore rage. With Education put into the mix, people will either defuse a situation or trick their adversaries into standing down, and then take advantage of their enemy’s vulnerability. All these behaviors are the variables in a fight and keep humans flirting with extinction. Since life began, it is estimated that 99.9% of all life has gone extinct. That is not a good outcome for success for Homo Sapiens. So like the sporting events that people watch for entertainment, such as: golf (Herbivores), and Gladiators or football games (Carnivores). Just sit back and enjoy the show until the New Gestapo shows up at your door and indoctrinates you into the feedstock for 800,000 more years before we, finally, all go away.
