TP. 52 SCIENCE

The scientific organization that deals with the birth and structure of the universe is known as Astrophysics. Somehow, with scientific instruments mounted on far flung rockets, they have managed to come up with an explanation of how the universe was constructed so that humanity can feel superior. Just a few principles that they have postulated in their mysterious versions are as such: 1. Quantum Mechanics rules the small. Atoms are composed of tiny particles that behave like ghosts. Now you see them, now you don’t. Because of this, the moon is only there when you look at it. Turn your head and it disappears. 2. Most of the universe is composed of dark matter and dark energy. Stuff that we never see but fills in the blanks nicely when they come up with formulas. 3. The universe is 13.8 billion years old. The sun is 4.6 billion years old and the Earth is 4.5 billion years old. How can you measure time in Earth years when it wasn’t even around for 9.3 billion years? 4. Space is expanding and accelerating away from its birthplace, which is both everywhere and nowhere at the same time. 5. The list goes on and on describing concepts that make absolutely no sense. It sounds just like religions that have entertaining stories that defy the laws of physics, including walking on water at room temperature and feeding 5,000 people with 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, (whale sharks perhaps?). Religion is a personal choice, and what you believe in is your right. Scientology is a recognized Religion, correct? It seems science and religions can just make stuff up, present it to the “uneducated”, and then ask for self-feeding donations to perpetuate the propaganda. Humans give themselves way too much praise. We don’t know shit. We only know how to kill each other with electrons (chemistry), and protons and neutrons (atomic weapons). The rest is just fairy tales.

  1. How do you know the earth is 4.5 billion years old? What if its 4.49 billion years old? That’s one hell of a jump. Why don’t you list your findings in scientific journals? But of course this is on the internet so it must be true.
