As a girl reaches the age of 4, she has established quite a vocabulary and oral skills to prepare her for the future role of an expert communicator. It is a sex trait installed for her to proficiently interrogate all of her future suitors, and also to allow her to communicate deceivingly with their own kind. In comparison, a 4-year-old boy might be able to utter 100 words of which 90 of them are the names of toys or food. This girl skill gains a new dimension when they reach puberty and throw in body language to emphasize sentence structure. Viewing a woman from across the room, where the words are not audible due to background noise, one can get a sense of where the conversation is going just by watching the gestures. Her entire body becomes an orchestra of movement to conduct her thoughts. The arms are maneuvering the hands and fingers into recognizable gestures that are picked up by the listener (other females) and include the raised index finger followed by a brief silence that indicates that they are thinking. The index finger has a multitude of meanings during speech to convey many emotions. This is the string section of the orchestra. The woodwinds are the eyes and eyebrows which have a unique tempo and bring a reinforcement to the spoken words. Next are the lips and mouth which is the percussion section and can bring up or tone down the volume. Finally, there is the head and neck movements that comprise the brass instruments that emphasize harmonic flexibility. If a conversation takes place while standing, the hips and legs are used to provide a real time value to the discussion and symbolize the keyboards. The amount of instruments used in a discussion between women hinges on the current speaker and the size of the audience. Two women will likely produce a concerto, but 6 or more participants can form a full-blown philharmonic orchestra. Meanwhile, men’s conversations are ape like grunts and are only inspired by beer or booty.
